Your voice, microphone, recording space, use of music, other processing, and desired finished sound all play a part in the EQ process. Your EQ settings depend on a nearly endless array of factors. What makes it confounding is that I can't just tell you how to set the EQ. Maybe you once had an equalizer on your home stereo or have messed with the bass and treble on the stereo in your car. Most people have at least some experience with EQ.
